Seeds and 14% food inflation.

I picked up a great little book yesterday called "Your Garden" printed in 1949. ( folks back then did not have their kids wasting time on TV and the Computer so they had those things back then)

I read an article three days ago that stated that wholesale food prices had gone up over 14% in March of 2011. We all know Gold and especially SILVER has gone up dramatically . (83% for silver last year and over 63% this year so far). More and more people are finally starting to see that something is wrong and it is the Economy stupid.

The gardening book is very interesting in that it was produced by the "Agricultural Extension Service of the university of Tennessee and the U.S. Department of Agriculture" . I picked it up in a box lot of other books that I spent 5 FRNs on.

Included in this find was Dr. Vivian V Vetrano's GREAT book " the Health Seekers yearbook " (1990) , "Fruits of the Harvest, homemade Jams and Jellies" by Kraft 1992, Revolutionary Recipes, Colonial Food Lore and More by Patricia B Mitchell (1988), and a stapled booklet from the university of Tennessee called "Freezing Facts" on Freezing fruits to preserve them .. All for 5$FRNs.

Back to the Gardening book. I found this little book AFTER I had already planted my garden and found that I could have done things a little differently, however I did not blunder and there is still time to really do things right as the season progresses. What I thought was a really great find was the section on seed preservation and warnings. NOTE: with the price of food potentially becoming unaffordable without being a Government WIC or food stamp receiver, the idea of making sure you can grow your own food and save the seeds to do it again and again is becoming a real issue... Buying seeds that WILL not reproduce or eating from GMO sources is another article waiting to happen... but for now......

SEEDS:

If you wish to keep left over seeds for another year or two, you need to know how long they will remain good.

One or Two years- Corn, leek, onion, parsley, parsnip, rhubarb, salsify. Soybeans are not good for more than one year.

Three to Five years- Asparagus, beans, brussels sprouts, cabbage, carrot, cauliflower, celery, endive, kale, kohl-rabi-okra, English peas, pepper, radish, spinach, turnip, water melon.

More than five years- Beet, cucumber, eggplant, cantaloupe, mustard, tomato.

STORING SEEDS:

If you have leftover seed, write on the package the year when you bought or raised it. Otherwise you will forget how old it is.

Good places to store seeds are :

a. As Dry as possible

b. As cool as possible

c. Safe from rats, mice, squirrels, and, for beens and peas, the insects that work in the seeds.

Fruit jars and covered tin cans are good to protect seeds from animals and insects

SEEDS THAT CROSS

What Vegetables Cross in the Garden?

By crossing is meant that is you grow several kinds of one vegetable in the same garden the kinds may be mixed up in the seed.( Hybridized)

( Here is the interesting thing, today everything is hybridized, but read what they said back then in warning farmers)

1. Do not cross, or very little-

Beans, peas, okra, lettuce.

2. Some crossing, but not to much for home seed saving-

Eggplant, pepper, tomato, carrot, celery.

3. So easily mixed that different kinds close together will not remain pure-

Corn, cucumbers, melon, squash, pumpkins, mustard, brussels Sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, collard kale, kohl-rabi, spinach, onion, radish, beet, turnip.

OTHER THINGS YOU MAY WISH TO KNOW

Beet and chard will cross.

Cabbage, kale, Cauliflower, broccoli , brussels Sprouts, Kohl-rabi and closely related and will cross with another is in flower at the same time.

Chinese cabbage is a mustard and will cross with other mustards.

Corn-Mixes with field corn. Don't save seed produced on a hybrid.

Cucumbers and cantaloups will not cross with each other or with any other vine crop.

Irish Potatoes do not cross between rows

Summer squashes- Scallop, crookneck, zucchini, cross among themselves and with Connecticut Field pumpkin. They do not cross with winter squashes like Hubbard.

Sweet potatoes do not mix across the rows A vine of one kind may may make potatoes in another rows however.

Turnips grown for roots will cross with other turnips, including Seven Top, but not with rutabaga.

Watermelons are related to citrons and will cross with them. they will not cross with any other vine crop.

However with the understanding of certain hybridizing issues I think we should still be very careful sewing mingled or divers seeds as some are simply sterile and will not produce seed after their kind...

What we will see in Haiti, the voodoo Superstitious Island that registers and mostly Catholic is a horror! But it is nothing compared to what is going to happen in the future. Look at Haiti and what do you see, even before the destruction, a hell hole of dis pare and depravity. The people in great darkness and a land that would make Sodom look tame by comparison. The Depravity of it all, yet in poverty and in ignorance, What could be said for America today in all her wealth and prosperity?

There will be looting and those in their moral depravity and superstition will use this event as just another excuse for increasing unto more depravity. Yet why do they do the same thing in American neighbourhoods when the chips are down? The answer is the same. Once a nation forgets God as Haiti did when it forsook the Bible for their Little lwa spirits. These little evil spirits purporting to be dead relatives not to mention the "spirits of the major forces of the universe--good, evil, reproduction, health, all aspects of daily life" control all aspects of their lives. The are possessed by them. They cause the world to be the way it is and develop a Fatalism in their lives that places them basically in the situation that they find themselves. If anything bad happens or anything good happens, it the the fault of the lwa spirit. What has been the fruit of this basic rejection of the Truth of the Gospel? Haiti. Forget the earthquake for a moment and you see a country that no sane person would ever want to live in other then to try to be a help to those who are set for destruction. All nations that forget God will be turned into Hell, and Haiti has been there for quite sometime. There have been great missionary efforts in the last thirty years or so but up until then haiti was officially 100% Catholic Yet they were almost all also practitioners of Voodoo.
I was reading a paper on this subject and the author stated it this way:

"Voodoo's relationship to Christianity.
The Catholic experience.
Under the French slaves were forbidden from practicing Voodoo. Nonetheless Voodoo survived. The colonists did allow occasional dances on the weekends. These dances were actually Voodoo services!
After the liberation of 1804 all white people were kicked out of Haiti and many were killed. This included Roman Catholic priests. Thus in 1804 the Vatican broke with Haiti and did not establish relations with her again until 1860.
During this 56 year period houngans and mambos built up the public religion of Haiti, Voodoo, in a weird amalgamation of African spirit religion and Catholicism. Virtually all lwa became associated with Catholic saints (Dumballah the snake lwa is St. Patrick; Erzulie, the earth mother is the Virgin Mary). They burned peristyle, Voodoo shrines, beat (some say even killed) houngans and mambo, demanded their ostracism from society and shot things up. But, they lost. Voodoo went under-ground to some extent, but it grew in popularity, in large measure because of the oppression.
By the early 1950s the Catholic hierarchy halted this war, got rid of these priest warriors and made their peace with Voodoo. Voodoo drums and melodies were incorporated into Catholic church services. The Catholics took the position, if you can't defeat them, co-opt them. Relative peace has held between the Catholics and serviteurs ever since. "

An interesting concept in the Empirical Republic (the title of a book I have in my Library from 1900) Is the need to expand like any other Empire. Problem, We do not live in a Republic and we do not even really live in a democracy. When we atalk about spreading our values through military and political efforts our leaders are actually telling us we are spreading a New World Order . This Order needs Chaos in order to produce and bring about its aims. Cause a conflict, create a governemtn or system that will make the people happy for a while and the impliment subtle changes. The New World Order's center is basically in my opinion a BLACK HOLE with the anti-christ and Satan at the center.
Ye shall be as Gods... You can do it..... They promise liberty, but bring about slavery and control.

Monarchy, Autocracy, Oligarchy< Republics and Democracy... All being stripped from their basic elements and distinctions. All "religions" being willingly and slowly drawn together as though by a "Grand Archtect". Those who resist are extremists. Novus Order, creating an E Pluribus Unum. During this interview on liberty Works Radio Network brother Slattery just let him loose and Larry stole the show. Discussing the Gun Ban in D.C and its ramification, the selection of a possible new Supreme court justice and the poor interpretations of even Reagan Appointed judges when it comes to the the second amendment. When this interview was over a caller came on and attacked Larry's credibility with references to the Southern Poverty Law Center.. But you will need to listen to part tow for that fight. Mark is a Union Organizer from up north and for some reason simply is very antagonistic toward anything capitalistic and or Southern in particular... I have a few recordings from earlier shows that give the perfect example of the socialist mind set. That being the case listen as brother Slattery and he talk economics. The Bible perspective verse the Humanistic perspective. Then watch listen to the conversation get a little hot as the call in is cornered into not being able to just paint with a wide brush. Jobless rate soars to 8.5 percent in March

'Employers laid off workers at a torrid pace in March, handing 663,000 people pink slips and driving the unemployment rate to 8.5 percent, the highest since late 1983, government data showed Friday.

Job losses have topped 600,000 for a record four straight months, despite a few hopeful signs recently that the recession — now the longest since World War II — could be easing.

The latest tally of job losses was slightly higher than the 654,000 that economists expected. The rise in the unemployment rate matched expectations.
MSNBC reported:

And so for some reason he economy is being described by the experts as "On the rebound" and the FED Chairmen is being praised with this: Bernanke Easing Mortgage Rates for Consumer-Driven Rebound... " So we got into this problem when the credit market popped.. they say... when the the real reason is the money system that creats credit and calls it money, Debt and calls it wealth over inflating the prices of homes through money expansion and credit until the obvious happened: people realized that homes are not worth what the market says and so the banks would not loan more equity money to the home owner to shop with. The entire boom was nothing more that a grand expansion of DEBT hoping that homes would go up in apparent value for ever. The Tax people loved it and the socialists loved it because they could raise taxes without raising millage rates simply by basing their taxes on the make believe mark to myt prices on the homes. The real estate agencies loved it because they are paid on commissions and the more the better, so they could not be honest about real value even if they did know. The property appraisers would not be honest because how many folks would be calling them if every time they came out the told you your house was worth less and less. Developers? LOL not an honest bone in their bodies and they knew... The Bankers? ROFLOL as if they cared. Remember they do not even know what a dollar is, add to this that their commissions on loans and points are based on people flipping their homes and properties. The more sales the more commissions and the more sales the more debt.. and remember DEBT, to them is wealth and a hole is a mountain. That is why "Bloomberg news" can say "Ben Bernanke is delivering what he promised five months ago, record- low mortgage rates and a refinancing boom that’s putting cash in consumers’ pockets." But is that TRUE?
Question: If you borrow more money from your home have you created any new wealth, or have you established a DEBT that must be repaid someday? Question: If you buy something with the money that is consumable, and are required to pay the so called money back with iterest, have you actually paid way to much for what ever it is you bought? It reminds me of the fellow that I saw years ago buying his family a meal at McDonalds, he spent about 30 dollars and whipped out a debit card to pay for it. The Money on the Debt card was money that was placed there via a refinance on his home. Eventually he lost the home and he is still paying for the meal at McDonalds and that was eaten year ago. Did he actually BUY anything? IN another case I saw a young husband do the same thing at another restaurant, Pay with a CREDIT card this time. The credit card was one of those Orhcard Bank high interest cards. They give you like 300 dollars in credit but they charge you 150 dollars to do it. At any rate he bought his meal and exchanged his credit card for it. He is still paying for it and at a rate of over 20% interest. He expanded the economy, just like the McDonalds shopper did, by adding to the over all debt that eventually combined to unimaginable proportions to collapse the WORLD economy. So what is the FEDS solution to the problem they and their clones created? "Lets start over and do exactly the same thing we did before....." Sort of like being trapped on an amusement park thrill ride that for some reason can't be turned off...

OK, As if having Brother Larry Pratt of Gun Owners of America and Pastor John Weaver of Freedom ministries were not enough of a blessing, Remember Doctor Scott Johnson will be with us as well and will be set up with a table. Mr. John Conway, the author of the citizens handbook will also be with us and be available for a book signing and to answer any questions.

Looking for the opportunity to help LOCAL people in this time of trouble and needing to possibly provide something to eat, I contact a dear friend who has a Boars Head hot dog/sausage cart, she will be setting up for your hot dog eating pleasure. Be a blessing to her as well. She will have soda and water and all the fixings, I am not sure of her prices on the top of my head but they are reasonable and her product is the best in Marion County IMHO. I also spoke to the Air soft Salesman at the flea market who said he was going to send a rep. with some of his more realistic weapons, weight and feel without the high cost or the safety problems involves with shooting real 7.62X39 rounds at one another.....

At least 1 bullion man will be with us with Silver and Gold available.

Did I mention that Mike, a new attendee of the meetings is also a custom leather worker whos speciality is creating holsters for Concealed Carry?

OH I went over Brett's house the other day and his OIL LAMP creations are coming along fine and are absolutely beautiful as well as functional. He should have some for the meeting..

The back of the building where we usually have the meeting will be available for all those who have Stuff.... they want to trade and barter or sell. Again time is short and some tables are already spoken for. We have contacted all of the local pawn/gun shops, save a few that we will get to Monday and many have said they plan to attend. We have handed out well over 1000 fliers and I know many of you have done a great job promoting this event.

Watching a Dead Cat Bounce

Every once in a while you see something happening in the news that just is simply amazing. Watching a dead economy "come Alive" and "Rebound" as news people call it when what is actually happening is akin to watching a dead cat bounce. Sure there is movement in an upward way, but what next? Have you ever watched a ball bounce down a flight of stairs? When I was a kid we used to drop a ball down large flights of stairs the first few bounces were short and not to high, but as the ball picked up momentum steps were skipped and bounces were bigger, but never to much higher and always after ever bounce there was a bigger fall. Is this where the economy is headed now? It sure looks that way. We got to this position because of our excessive debts and over spending and mystery accounting and now we owe more than ever , we spend more than ever, and more money is simply vanishing on mystery projects and so called infrastructure then ever. After Brother Mike opened the meeting up with a prayer, he shared with us his goal of putting a “best practices” standard in place for developing groups like ours. In the role of being a model or mentor group, the research and foundational work developed by the Belleview meetings will be used to help out others that Mike mentioned. Some were as far north as Atlanta and further north into Philadelphia.

Americans Go Jobless....Stock Market UP at least for a little while

A very interesting thing happens when hundreds of thousands of Americans find out they have no job, the stock market says Amen, we can keep the money for ourselves and not give it to those pesty employees and so for a short time the stocks go up. I truly hope that is not what is happening however it seems that almost any bad news that results in Americans losing their jobs homes or anything else, the stock market temporarily goes up and then when they realize that without workers the company can not actually make any money and so the long run result is implosion. The latest example being the Asian markets falling Europe falling and jobless claims over 650 thousand and the Market opens UP and by 9:45 am is over 145 points higher. WHY? profit takers? The only news today was BAD. Economists are finally admitting that the 1930s are the possibilities and I heard one man on Bloomberg radio yesterday state that he was looking at the 1907 crash. No production, not only here but in most other places as well See Brazil for example where industrial production plunged 17.2 percent in January alone. And the stock market is UP and everyone is happy... LOL Asia, Europe and the rest of the world see this, but the folks on wall street... well that's another story.....

I talked to a man in McDonald's two days ago, He told me he has lost over HALF of everything he has taken a lifetime to save. WHO was to blame? HIS BROKER. She was still telling him to stay in the market. Not to get out. I told him to call her and sell everything and put it in GOLD and Silver and Long Term/ 10 year T-Bills. I have no idea what he did, but i do know the next day the Stock market fell 4% and Gold went up $27 Dollars and ounce. He said he had 165k Left. If he had been able to Sell it all and trade it for Gold he would have been able to buy 183 ounces( Give or take ) and he would be up about 5K, have an asset he did not need a broker to sell or manage. I asked him.... is this person who is managing your money called a BROKER or a RICHER?

Criss Cross and those Stupid Preachers

Peter Shiff, Irwin's son, has said that he is looking for the DOW and GOLD to criss-cross, that is that the Dow Jones Industrial Average will eventually be the same price as Gold and possibly less. ONE ounce of GOLD being- the same as what ever the DOW is, sounded ludicrous at one time and the DOW was 30 times higher than the price of GOLD but now that it is less than 8 times the price with GOLD hitting 1000 and the DOW at less that 7500 Peter is looking pretty bright.

Larry Heim has long predicted GOLD at $3,400.00 per ounce and he was doing so when Gold was only 300. He is and has been predicting SILVER to go to $208.

Last night my wife looked over my shoulder to the computer screen and saw the Price of Gold was down and asked why, I said it was just the over seas markets but watch when New York opens. Wee Gold shot up to 1000 even. The DOW was not open yet but the Asian markets and the European markets were way down, and there was not ONE bit of good news.

Those that had predicted Unemployment to be at about 6% max are staring blankly at 7.6 ( it is most likely really at a REAL unemployment rate of about 14%) Those who I work out with at the gym who are "big traders" all look like they want to hang themselves and they don't talk to me anymore. Even as I type this right now the DOW is in a free fall with headlines like
"Stocks Drop Worldwide on Recession Concern, Earnings; Lowe's Shares Slide" and "J.C. Penney Co., the third-largest U.S. department-store chain, forecast its first quarterly loss in almost five years"..

This is very serious this is global and is the kind of stuff empires are made of on the ashes of chaos.

Rhodium has fallen 90% from over 10,000 per ounce to 950 and now it is at about 1050. 80% of Rhodium is used in catalytic converters. Catalytic converters are used in cars primarily.. Car production and sales have fallen through the floor. Supply and demand.

Platinum: In the last year platinum has fallen from around 24oo to about 775 and is now back up to about 1080. Platinum and Gold were about the same price for a little while. Platinum is used in car exhaust pollution controls too....But while rhodium is used in cars and only as a coating in jewelry Platinum is used in medical equipment and is also sold as coins, jewelry and has various other uses. It dropped.. but did not die.

Gold and Silver are known as a store of value, wealth and are not dependent on any "industry" for survival. Jewelry, bank hoards, investments, coinage, collections, and 6000 years of religious and political reliability are not going to go away. Wars have not been fought all across the globe to acquire rhodium or platinum. No nation has ever made Platinum or Rhodium or iridium a "reserve" against melt-down. No one has ever walked into a store anywhere on the globe and bought much with rhodium or platinum and bought a sandwich or a coffee. (excluding nut cases and possibly on a rare occasion a miner in a local community where the mine is). Silver dollars. 20 Dollar Gold, and British Sovereigns, and after all they are not called Pound Rhodiums.

Jesus said. " I go to prepare are place for you that where I am there ye may be also..." To the best of our understanding He is not using platinum or Rhodium and as long as man has been here he has always tried to imitate God even if he has done it for wicked gain and purposes. Crashing Tumbling Correcting... or Dying,

With the economic stimulus package ready to be signed into law and 787 BILLION dollars about to be flushed down the toilet:
The DOW is down over 3.5% into the 7500 range.
OIL who all the economic drools thought was somehow tied to Gold drops below 36 dollars a barrel.
GOLD is up over $969 and Silver passes $14.10.

The reason...Real money becomes valuable when too much Fake money shows up.

With governments around the world dumping TRILLIONS of units of their unbacked paper credit and "monies" on the world economy they are creating INFLATION in regard to REAL MONEY.

THINGS that are made may very well fall into depressionary value but GOLD and to a lesser degree SILVER, will not. Supply and demand on the individual level affects cars and boats and trinkets, but when it comes to GOLD and SILVER as a store of value and as wealth that can not grow old or be destroyed there will always be more demand than supply, especially in bad times. The BIG money people, governments and banks all know they can print money and make the masses happy for a time. Day to day paycheck people and hand to mouth living needs the paper money world and the paper money world knows it. They just increase their check week to week so that inflation is manageable for a time, but not forever. Eventually unemployment skyrockets, the price of some goods and services skyrockets while the value of homes and other long term things plummet. Once hyperinflation starts there is very little that can be done about it that is civil or polite and this increases the need to raise taxes on the properties to maintain the welfare state or the military establishment that is going to be used to 'quell" the masses. Eventually chaos. Folks lose their homes either through taxes or through foreclosure and a dictator arises or a revolution changes everything.

Milton Friedman, when dealing with Icelandic economists back 20 some years ago was told by them that their inflationary economies were sustainable and that their high welfare states that produced their inflationary economies were examples of just how their systems were working well, Milton pointed out to them that because of their homogeneous population that they might very well be able to maintain their standard of living, but that their economies would one day crash in on themselves. Well have you read about Iceland? How about the Soviet Union? Or any other highly socialistic welfare government money state?

Well folks we are them now. An economy can not live forever with no store of value behind its monetary policy. Our founding fathers knew this and established a SILVER and GOLD bi-metal standard for this country.

IT IS THE LAW.

Debts in America, like the rest of the world are being MONETIZED. For years they have been taking a hole and turning it into a mountain, but with out filling it with anything. Thank you everyone who came out and helped. Thank You Electrical Al for opening us up in prayer in Jesus' name. A special thank you to Mr. Conway for coming to speak with us. His over all practical know how on the Constitution and it's application was greatly appreciated. His understanding of the issue of taxation was fresh and brilliant. If you missed this talk you missed out on a lot!

Thank you Brett for sharing your hydrogen machine fuel cell and torch and your battery rejuvenator. Turns out there was a few in the group today who were from different areas of Florida and all were working on the same hydrogen projects. It was good to see some brainstorming and problem solving in this field, ( we need to work together).

Laurie Brothers and her daughters brought us some great bread once more and we even had a chance to update her website and teach a little bit about how to go about making use of these networking Blogspots.

The REAL monsters Obamula and Congore have honest money and the Constitution. Gold and silver seem to be the only way to fend off these monsters of the night. Obama-nomics is going to work.While the President was telling everyone about his PLAN to take care of the economy and the Senate was passing a 800+ billion FRN plan and Barny Franks was talking to Bernanke of the fed and Geithner of the treasury department was in a speech saying NOTHING followed in an interview on CNBC on the TV saying even less than he did in the speech. Those who do know a little bit about money knew enough to know that these guys do not know anything at best and if they do, they are deliberatly trying to tank the economy. Who knows what will happen tomorrow but looking at Gold at 919 and ounce and Silver at 13.16 while the DOLLAR is gaining and oil is dropping is just an amazing mix that to me is a sign that we are in fact nearing a bond market implosion, a continuing housing meltdown, unemployment that will stagger the imagination and to settle the problems a massive buildup in military ventures and civil service work camps. Obamula will suck this country dry for his NWO masters. The mounting interest in "states rights" news and the very real threat by several states to leave the union are only tremmors. She can also fill orders ahead of time, just let her know before the meetings and she can have it ready at the next one for you to pick up. Dr. Scott Johnson was again with us with some disturbing information on how the powers that be are trying to list SILVER in solution as a PESTICIDE so they can effectively take it off the health market for people. He also gave us a great lesson on the differences in types of Silver used for health reasons. Dr Johnson is a great friend and man of God who ministers not only through his practice but on the internet as well. He comes all the way up from Melbourne to be with us and it is a great Blessing to have him..Thanks Doc!

thank you Dr. Scott Johnson and Wendy Callahan ( www.Vaccinetruth.org) for being with us on the 5th with all the information on the Evils and Dangers of vaccinations and how they are possibly using this and other "health care" to do more harm than good.

OIL WAY DOWN GOLD STILL OVER 850

The pundents that always looked for some OIL Gold connection are at a loss. According to their theory on Gold up Oil Up etc. Gold should be about 250 per pounce right now. But it isn't. the Stock market measured by the DOW is under 8000 again and every one is simply in a flight to something real. REAL Gold, not the paper stuff on the Internet is like Ammo, Some will quote it low, but it seems they have none to deliver. Fact is regardless of the so called spot price GOD and SILVER and Platinum have unhinged themselves from the Energy market as well as the COMEX. At least where IN HAND GOLD is considered. Instead of a fifty cent mark up on Silver we are talking over a dollar and a half and GOLD is no longer easily available for 50 dollars over spot but is instead holding a premium of over 100 or more. ( if you can get it).

Ammunition is the same. Folks are telling you they can get it for you are pone price, but then they are out of stock, will not take an advance payment, and himm and haw when you want actual delivery. They are afraid if they sell it to you at one price they will not be able to restock at any price.

GUNS.. Especially AK-47's or AR-15's and other such tools are coming in short supply and the fact is they are almost two time the price they were before the messiah was elected to be our new ruler. Have you noticed that almost all the WAL-MArts are not selling them any more? And the Ammunition supply at the Local Wally world is almost non existent!

The economy is in a tale spin. Unemployment is through the roof and the local and national political drools have no idea why? or are they orchestrating the problem so they can buy up and clean up later in a vast power grab?

As I was going through the Internet, searching the cyber jungle for information of high mileage cars, and having seen the so called HIGH mileage car by Toyota getting less than 55 miles per gallon, I can across another car that was a running back in 2005-6 and was being discussed online and was ready for some car show at the same time the Prius was coming online.
ON FEB 25 2006 the following article was online:

"German Loremo AG will introduce their ultra Efficient Car at the Motor Show
2006 (site) in Geneva next week."The
Loremo LS is powered by a 2 cylinder Turbo Diesel engine with 20 hp and 160km/h top speed. The amazing thing is that the
Loremo only needs 1.5l per 100km. This is approx. 157MPG! The Toyota Prius
hybrid has only 55MPG
(combined city and highway). With one tank (20l) you could drive 1,300km. Loremo
AG plans to sell the Loremo LS for less than 11,000 Euros (~$13,000). One reason
for the low consumption is the low weight of 450kg. The company designed the
Loremo focusing on safety and efficiency and got rid of unnecessary functions.
The car is small but still provides space for 4. The design of the car is very
futuristic and has for instance no conventional doors.

For some reason however they will not have a "production car" ready till sometime in 2010. granted this is a start up company, even so, if these guys can do it in less than 4 years with a limited number of people working and no income per say, could you imagine if a company like FORD or Chrysler or GM put their tens of thousands of employees to work on something like this? But why would they do that when for years they have been buying up technology patents, everything from super batteries to tires that never go flat, and keeping them off the market.

OK Well How about honda not to long ago with the "Insight" who according to Eikipedia "The car remained the highest mileage machine while it was produced and is still the leader of any current mass market car. The Insight earned an EPA mileage estimate of 70 miles per US gallon (3.4 L/100 km/84 mpg imp) in highway driving, 61 mpg (US) (3.9 L/100 km/73 mpg imp) city. With air conditioning it was 66 mpg (US) (3.6 L/100 km/79 mpg imp)/60 mpg (US) (3.9 L/100 km/72 mpg imp). With a CVT it was 57 mpg (US) (4.1 L/100 km/68 mpg imp)/56 mpg (US) (4.2 L/100 km/67 mpg imp)."

let us not forget the VW Rabbit from 1978-1981-2 that also got over 50 Miles per gallon, Or the GOE Metro that my friend Rudy is driving right now that gets over 48.
Listen folks these numbers are very do-able and have been done. Now what if we add hydrogen tech to an already 55 mile per gallon Metro or Rabit? What if a real car maker WANTED to do the right thing...?

Preparedness meeting July 7 2008

Have you been pricing ammunition lately?

I have. 7.62 by 39 ( AK 47 and SKS ammo) that I bought last year ( less than 12 months ago) cost me 4.00 per box Now everyone one want at least 5 if you buy a huge amount and most folks that I spoke with on a few boxes here and there at at least 6$. That is for 20 rounds, NON re loadable.

The price of lead is up, copper is up, gunpowder is up.... So is food.

One thing that I praying about is being able to put together group "buys' so that we can order Ammunition by the case and save money. Call me and let me know if you are interested and what you are interested in.

I hope you were not scared off by the fall in silver and gold last week... if you were and sold off you lost a bunch of trading power. The fundamentals have not changed the economy is toast and the dollar is a cake not turned. All the gurus last week and the week before going on about the strong dollar and the gaining dollar, and that goof on Kitco that does their main commentary who more or less tries to discourage folks from Gold and Silver were dead wrong AGAIN. The Stock market that they thought was rebounding was simply coming up for air before taking a dive.
Silver up to over 17.59 and Gold at 931 would be a great thing to trade/barter today if you bought it last week when it was 860 and 16.50. Anyway....

My Lima beans are starting to be ready and I am eating a few everyday raw...
Even the few PEA plants that I have are producing now....
lets not forget the blue lake pole beans and the butter beans.. no beans yet but huge vines...
Rutabagas and Peanuts also..Not ready yet...

and OKRA the plants are about 3 and a half feet tall and starting to flower...

I spend about 30 minutes a day EVERYDAY picking and killing different worms so I will not have to use pesticides...

I Use grass Clippings that have been composting as a mulch...
